Hi, I'm Ellie Halliday, founder of HallidayEscapes.
Like many people, I've spent most of my working life doing jobs that paid the bills while dreaming about doing something for myself. After 10 years working behind bars, I've decided to turn that ambition into reality and build a business around something I genuinely enjoy: helping people plan exciting trips and getaways.
My connection to travel comes largely from visiting family in Spain over the years and seeing how much a holiday can mean to people. Whether it's a chance to relax, celebrate, reconnect with loved ones, or simply escape everyday life for a while, travel creates memories that last far longer than the trip itself.
